95.36

又放光明名見佛　彼光覺寤命終者
念佛三昧必見佛　命終之後生佛前
念彼臨終勸念善　又示尊像令瞻敬
又復勸令歸依佛　因是得成見佛光

'He also emits a radiant light named "Seeing the Buddha";
That light awakens those whose lives are ending.
Through the Buddha-mindfulness samādhi they will surely see the Buddha,
And after life ends, they are born before the Buddha.
Thinking of them at death's door, one encourages wholesome mindfulness,
And shows them the venerable image, causing them to gaze upon it with reverence;
Furthermore, one encourages them to take refuge in the Buddha,
And for this reason they are able to behold the Buddha's light.'
