龔勝無遺生　季業有窮盡
嵆叟理既迫　霍子命亦殞
屢屢厚霜柏　納納衝風菌
邂逅竟慨時　脩短非所慜
恨我君子志　不得巖上泯
送心正覺前　斯痛久已忍
既知人我空　何愁心不謹
唯願乘來生　怨親同識朕

Gong Sheng left no remnant of his life; / Jiye's days reached their end. / The elder Ji was driven by circumstances; / The young Huo likewise lost his life. / Ever dense is the cypress amidst heavy frost; / Ever fleeting is the mushroom facing rushing winds. / By chance one sighs at the times; / Length of days is not what stirs grief. / I regret that my noble-minded resolve / Could not vanish upon the cliff-tops. / Directing my mind before the Truly Awakened One, / This pain has long been endured. / Since one already knows the emptiness of person and self, / What sorrow if the mind is ever vigilant? / I pray only that riding into future births, / Foes and kin alike will recognize me.
