高堂信逆旅　壞業理常牽
玉匣方委觀　金臺不復延
挽聲隨遙遠　蘿影帶松懸
詎能留十念　唯應逐四緣
幻工作同異　變弄作多身
愚俗諍人我　誰復非謂真
謬者疑久固　達者知幻賓
親疎既無定　何勞悲蒼旻

The lofty hall is truly an inn; / Destroying karma ever drags one along by principle. / The jade casing is just cast aside to be seen, / And the golden terrace no longer extends its welcome. / The mourning songs trail away into the distance; / The shadows of creepers hang intertwined with the pines. / How could one retain ten mindfulnesses? / One must simply follow the four conditions. / The illusionist creates sameness and difference, / Performing transformations into many bodies. / Fools dispute over self and other— / Who among them does not call it real? / The deluded suspect it to be permanent and solid; / The discerning know it as an illusory guest. / Since relatives and strangers are never fixed, / Why labour to grieve before the azure sky?
