In the Compassionate Honoured One’s jewelled crown are many transformation Buddhas,
Their number exceeding hundreds of thousands.
Assemblies of bodhisattvas from this land and other directions
Widely manifest divine transformations within jewelled windows.
The Buddha’s body has eighty thousand rays of light from the white ūrṇā,
Constantly preaching the causes of the irreversible wheel of the Dharma.
If sentient beings can only cultivate meritorious deeds,
In the time it takes to bend or extend an arm they will meet the Compassionate Honoured One.
Buddhas numerous as the sands of the Ganges manifest through this—
How much more so our fundamental teacher, Śākyamuni!
Therefore I bow my head to Maitreya Buddha;
I only pray the Compassionate Honoured One will deliver sentient beings.
