'Sovereign of heaven and earth, / I shall now explain it to you: / This is not agallochum incense, / Nor is it flowers, leaves, or stems. / Nor is it that candana and other various incenses / Combined could produce this. / I gave rise to a mind of rare wonder / And made such a declaration: / Due to praising Kāśyapa in the past, / I then obtained such fragrance. / At the time of that Buddha it was already compounded, / Yet it is no different from fresh incense. / Day and night there is always fragrance, / Without ever ceasing.'
