Furthermore, the Madhyamāgama says: 'Just as when a wheel-turning king appears in the world, one should know that these seven treasures appear in the world; likewise, when a Tathāgata, Arhat, and Samyaksaṃbuddha appears in the world, one should know that the seven treasures of the factors of enlightenment also appear in the world. What are the seven? First is the treasure of the mindfulness factor of enlightenment; second is the treasure of the investigation-of-dharmas factor of enlightenment; third is the treasure of the energy factor of enlightenment; fourth is the treasure of the joy factor of enlightenment; fifth is the treasure of the tranquility factor of enlightenment; sixth is the treasure of the concentration factor of enlightenment; and seventh is the treasure of the equanimity factor of enlightenment.'
