May I become the great earth, / vast and boundless, / serving all sentient beings / as a true place of refuge. / All who make use of it / shall accomplish the path of antidotes, / extinguishing the consciousness of false discrimination / and giving rise to the bodhicitta, / profound and unobstructed, / an inexhaustible resource. / May I become the great water, / endowed with the eight virtues, / solely washing the minds of sentient beings, / cleansing the defilements of afflictions, / making them all ultimately pure, / fulfilling the bodhi of the Buddhas. / May I become the great fire, / the light of the sun, moon, and stars, / drying up the cold-ice hells, / universally illuminating the realms of darkness. / Rescuing and gathering those sentient beings / without remainder, / causing them all to attain the vision of the path / and be liberated from all faults. / May I become the great wind, / subtle, dense, and filling empty space; / wherever there is feverish affliction, / fanning it with cool refreshment, / so that they peacefully experience bliss. / May I become empty space, / tranquil and unobstructed, / gathering and receiving all sentient beings / entirely without remainder; / those who partake of it / shall all attain the two kinds of selflessness, / and with the bliss of the emptiness samādhi / rejoice together. / May I become the king of medicinal trees, / universally covering the realms of sentient beings: / seeing, hearing, or ingesting the medicine / will remove sickness and eliminate all poisons; / with poison dispelled and sickness removed, / afflictions will also be no more. / Next, with the flavor of tathatā, / may I fill the Dharma-body of the Buddhas. / May I become food and drink, / complete with color, fragrance, and delicious flavors, / manifesting before all sentient beings, / in every respect; / according to their desires for tastes, / all will be fully satisfied; / only when they reach the limits of birth and death / will this food then be digested. / May I become garments, / light, soft, and wondrously colored, / small or large according to the measure of their forms, / warm or cool according to their wishes; / bestowing them with an equal mind upon sentient beings, / definitively without remainder, / causing their minds to become pure, / endowed with wondrous adornments.
