The dharmakāya has no form; / The ultimate teaching has no words. / Appearing in response to capacities, / Transmitted through conditioned mindfulness. / Pitying these who are drowning, / He expands this wondrous gate. / Capacity and understanding mutually resonate, / Truly rescuing from deep darkness. / Waters of the eight virtues, / Rows of trees of the seven jewels; / Auspicious birds disport in the ponds, / Pure sounds are widely broadcast. / The Dharma drums sound in harmony; / Auspicious winds lead the way. / Personally receiving the subtle words, / We look up to the dark measure. / How glorious is Tuṣita! / How exalted is the Compassionate Honoured One! / His radiance flows to the heavenly temples; / His majesty shakes the multitude. / Celestial flowers flutter, / Jewelled palaces gather like clouds. / Presenting blessings and fortune to him, / The merit extends to solitary souls. / Assembling to set forth towards that shelter, / The vow is by no means in vain. / Having stilled the dust of dreams, / It further sustains sentient beings. / Writing it down and transmitting it, / May it endure as long as heaven and earth! / Even if the text should be damaged, / How could the vowed mind ever decay?
