善哉能堅持　釋師子所說
寧捨己身命　護法不毀犯
我今亦歸命　如是顯大法
歸依離熱惱　牟尼解脫尊
堅持禁戒者　我今亦歸命

"Excellent! You are able to firmly uphold / That which was taught by the Lion of the Śākyas, / Rather renouncing your own bodies and lives / To guard the Dharma without violating it. / I now also take refuge in / The Great Dharma revealed like this; / I take refuge in the Muni, the Lord of Liberation, / Who is free from burning affliction; / And to those who firmly uphold the prohibitive precepts, / I now also pay homage!"
