10.177

一切皆無常　恨不貽師子
奈何死厄身　貪命無功死
無功已可恨　復污人中水
懺悔十方佛　願垂照我心
前代諸惡業　現償皆令盡
從是值明師　修行盡作佛

All things are impermanent; / I regret not giving myself to the lion.
Why should this body of suffering / crave life and die without merit?
To die without merit is regrettable enough, / and furthermore I defile the water of humans.
I repent before the Buddhas of the ten directions; / may they deign to illuminate my mind.
May all evil karma from former lives / be completely repaid in the present.
From this may I meet an enlightened teacher, / practice, and all become Buddhas.
