Just as a mother suckling an infant
Does not grow weary through the course of a month,
Yet if the infant's throat should close,
What can the wet nurse do?
Better to let them be destitute of wealth and rank,
Keeping far away from the evil destinies and bad deeds,
Lest, being disturbed in their sense-faculties by wealth and honor,
They be made to incur future vessels of suffering.
