青草用繫手　猶如鸚鵡翅
又如祠天羊　不動亦不搖
雖知處危難　默住不傷草
如林為火焚　𤛆牛為尾死

"Bound hand and foot with green grass / Like the wings of parrots, / Or like sheep for a sacrifice to the gods, / You neither move nor shake. / Though knowing you are in peril and distress, / You stay silent and do not harm the grass— / Like a forest being burned by fire, / Or a yak dying for the sake of its tail."
