11.34

修行大布施　急性多瞋怒
不依正憶念　後作大龍身
能修大布施　高心陵蔑人
由斯業行生　大力金翅鳥

"One may practice great dāna,
Yet be impatient and full of anger;
Not relying on correct mindfulness,
One will later assume the body of a great nāga.
One can practice great dāna,
Yet with a haughty mind slight others;
Through this karmic action one is born
As a mighty garuḍa."
