第一呵色欲過。如頻婆娑羅王。以色故身入敵國。獨在婬女阿梵婆羅房中。優填王以色染故。截五百仙人手。如是等種種因緣是名呵色欲過失。

First: Rebuking the fault of the desire for form. For example, King Bimbisāra, on account of form, entered an enemy state alone and stayed in the chamber of the courtesan Āmrapālī. King Udayana, on account of defilement by form, severed the hands of five hundred rṣis. Various causes and conditions such as these are called rebuking the faults of the desire for form.
