次依論引施設論說。若彼父母。福業增上。子福業劣。不得入胎。若彼父母福業劣薄。子福業勝。不得入胎。要父母子三福業等。方得入胎。

Next, relying on the treatise, it cites the Prajñapti-śāstra as saying: If the parents' meritorious karma is superior and the child's meritorious karma is inferior, it cannot enter the womb. If the parents' meritorious karma is slight and thin, and the child's meritorious karma is superior, it cannot enter the womb. Only when the meritorious karma of the three—the father, the mother, and the child—are equal can it enter the womb.
