13.43

供養於父母　及家之尊長
柔和恭遜辭　離麁言兩舌
調伏慳悋心　常修真實語
彼三十三天　見行此法者
咸各作是言　當來生此天

'Making offerings to parents
And the elders of the household,
Speaking gentle, respectful, and courteous words,
Free from harsh speech and divisive talk,
Subduing the stingy and begrudging mind,
Constantly cultivating truthful words—
When the gods of the Trāyastriṃśa Heaven
See one who practices this teaching,
They each make this statement:
"This person will surely come to be born in this heaven."'
