欺者有四過　讒佞傷賢良
受身癡聾盲　謇吃口臭腥
顛狂不能信　死墮拔舌囹
吾修四淨口　自致八音聲

"Deceivers have four faults; / Slander and flattery harm the worthy and good. / Receiving bodies stupid, deaf, and blind, / Stuttering and stammering, their mouths foul and reeking, / Insane and unable to be trusted, / Upon death they fall into the tongue-plucking prison. / I have cultivated the four purities of the mouth, / Naturally attaining the eight voices."
