惟念老病死 三界之大患
福盡而命終 棄之於黃泉
身爛還歸土 魂魄隨因緣
吾用畏是故 學道求泥洹
"Contemplating old age, sickness, and death: / The great afflictions of the triple realm! / When blessings are exhausted and life ends, / One is abandoned to the Yellow Springs. / The body rots and returns to the earth; / The soul follows its causes and conditions. / Because I fear these things, / I study the Way and seek nirvāṇa."
