15.11

善搏不說是　形色及所生
大力而復勝　善牙不能善
若受無利言　信他彼此語
親厚自破壞　便成於怨家
若以知真實　當滅除瞋惱
今可至誠說　令身得利益
今當善降伏　除滅惡知識
可殺此野干　鬪亂我等者
即打野干殺

"Good-Striker did not say:
'Form, color, and lineage,
Possessing great power and superior besides;
Good-Tooth cannot be good.'
If one accepts unprofitable words
And believes others' divisive speech,
Those of close affection will naturally break apart
And then become sworn enemies.
If one has known the truth,
One should eliminate anger and distress.
Now we can speak with utter sincerity,
Causing our bodies to obtain benefit.
Now we should thoroughly subdue
And destroy this evil companion;
We can kill this jackal
Who set us at odds!"
Thereupon he struck the jackal dead.
