18.21

世尊告諸比丘。作如是言。汝應當知彼世中間。別有十地獄。何等為十。一頞浮陀地獄。二泥羅浮陀地獄。三阿呼地獄。四呼呼婆地獄。五阿吒吒地獄。六搔揵提迦地獄。七優鉢羅地獄。八波頭摩地獄。九奔茶梨地獄。十拘牟陀地獄。

The Bhagavat addressed the bhikṣus, saying: “You should know that between those worlds there are separately ten hells. Which are the ten? First is the Arbuda Hell; second is the Nirarbuda Hell; third is the Ahaha Hell; fourth is the Hahava Hell; fifth is the Aṭaṭa Hell; sixth is the Saugandhika Hell; seventh is the Utpala Hell; eighth is the Padma Hell; ninth is the Puṇḍarīka Hell; tenth is the Kumuda Hell.”
