又梵網經云。若佛子。見大乘法師同見同行來入僧坊舍宅城邑。若百里千里來者。即迎來送去禮拜供養。日日三時供養。日食三兩金百味飲食床座供養法師。一切所須盡給與之。常請法師三時說法。日日三時禮拜。不生瞋心。患惱之心為法滅身請法。若不爾者。犯輕垢罪。

Furthermore, the Fanwang jing says: 'If a disciple of the Buddha sees a Mahāyāna Dharma master of shared views and shared practice coming into a monastery, a residence, or a city or town, coming from a hundred li or a thousand li away, he should welcome him on arrival and see him off on departure, bowing and making offerings to him. Three times each day he should make offerings to him; daily he should make offerings to the Dharma master of three liang of gold, food and drink of a hundred flavours, beds and seats, providing him with all necessities. He should constantly request the Dharma master to preach the Dharma at the three periods of the day, bowing down three times every day, without giving rise to an angry mind or a mind of distress and affliction, giving up one's life for the sake of the Dharma to request the Dharma. If one does not do so, one commits a light defiling offense.'
