又沙彌威儀經云。掃地有五法。一不得背人。二不得逆掃。三當令水灑。四當令淨。五當即分却。

Furthermore, the Śrāmaṇera-vinayasaṃgraha states: 'There are five rules for sweeping the ground: first, one must not turn one's back to others; second, one must not sweep against [the wind]; third, one should sprinkle water; fourth, one should make it clean; fifth, one should promptly pile [the rubbish] away.'
