4.54

大慈哀愍群生　為蔭蓋盲冥者
開無目使視睇　化未聞以道明
處世界如虛空　猶蓮華不著水
心清淨超於彼　稽首禮無上尊

'With great kindness and pity for all beings,
Serving as a sheltering canopy for the blind and dark;
Opening [the eyes of] the sightless to enable them to see,
Transforming those who have not heard, through the clarity of the Way.
Dwelling in the world like empty space,
Just like a lotus flower unattached to the water;
With a pure mind transcending even that,
I bow my head in homage to the Unexcelled Honoured One.'
