第十菩薩齋日。不得與女人相形笑共坐席。女人亦爾。是為十戒。不得犯。不得教人犯。亦不得勸勉人犯。菩薩解齋法言。南無佛南無法南無比丘僧。某若干日若干夜。持菩薩齋。從分檀布施。當得六波羅蜜。如諸菩薩六萬菩薩法。齋日夜。一分禪。一分讀經。一分臥。是為菩薩齋日法。從正月十四日受。十七日解。從四月八日受。十五日解。從七月一日受。十六日解。從九月十四日受。十六日解。

"Tenth, on the Bodhisattva fast day, one must not jest, laugh, or share a seat with women; women likewise. These are the ten precepts. One must not violate them, must not instruct others to violate them, and must not encourage others to violate them. The method of releasing the Bodhisattva fast states: 'Namo Buddhāya, namo Dharmāya, namo Saṅghāya. I, [so-and-so], for so-many days and so-many nights, have upheld the Bodhisattva fast; through sharing gifts and giving, I shall attain the six pāramitās, just like the method of all bodhisattvas and the sixty thousand bodhisattvas. On the fast day and night: one part for meditation, one part for reciting sūtras, and one part for sleeping.' This is the method of the Bodhisattva fast day: receive it from the fourteenth day of the first month, and release it on the seventeenth day; receive it from the eighth day of the fourth month, and release it on the fifteenth day; receive it from the first day of the seventh month, and release it on the sixteenth day; receive it from the fourteenth day of the ninth month, and release it on the sixteenth day."
