韞石諒非真　飾瓶信為假
寵服高門上　濫吹緇軒下
風祀結驚心　騶文終好野
真相豈或昭　浮榮未能捨
迹殊冠冤客　事襲驅馳者
已矣歇鄭聲　天然亂周雅
富貴空爭名　寵辱虛相罵
須臾風火燭　幻泡何足把

Concealed within stone, it is truly not genuine; / An adorned vase is indeed false.
Favored robes worn above high gates, / Presumptuously playing the pipes beneath dark canopies.
Sacrifices to the wind stir an alarmed heart; / The courser's markings ultimately belong to the wilderness.
How could the true mark be made manifest? / Floating glories cannot yet be cast aside.
Traces differ from the guest who capped injustice; / Affairs follow those who hasten and strive.
Let it end! Cease the sounds of Zheng; / The spontaneous disrupts the Zhou odes.
Wealth and rank vie in vain for fame; / Favor and disgrace curse each other to no purpose.
In an instant, a candle in the wind and fire; / How are illusory bubbles worth grasping?
