曠路作好井　種殖園果施
樹林施清涼　橋船度人民
布施修淨戒　智慧捨慳貪
功德日夜增　常生天人中

"Digging good wells on desolate roads, / Planting fruit orchards as gifts, / Groves of trees providing cool shade, / Bridges and boats ferrying people across, / Giving gifts, cultivating pure moral discipline, / With wisdom casting off stinginess and greed: / Their merit increases day and night, / And they are constantly born among devas and humans."
