瞻蔔改蓬心　伊蘭變芳樹
規輪時有缺　皓絲不常素
三益竊所忻　四隙行當護
勗哉深自勉　誡之誠可慕

'The campaka transforms a heart of weeds; / The eraṇḍa becomes a fragrant tree. / The round wheel of the moon is at times eclipsed; / Gleaming white silk is not perpetually plain. / The three benefits are secretly what one rejoices in; / The four gaps must be guarded in one's conduct. / Strive on, deeply encouraging oneself! / Taking warning from this is truly to be admired.'
