"There are those who fall among the hungry ghosts,
With flames emerging from their mouths,
Crying out loudly in the four directions:
This is retribution for faults of the mouth.
Though one may have much hearing and sight,
And expound the Dharma before the great assembly,
Because one did not establish the karma of trustworthiness,
No one believes or accepts it.
If you wish for widespread fame
And to be believed and accepted by others,
You should therefore be utterly sincere
And not engage in frivolous speech."
