Frivolous speech devoid of meaning and principle
Causes people's minds to be confused and disordered.
Because it destroys the wholesome roots of others,
Molten copper is poured into wrenched-open mouths;
Blazing iron burns their tongues,
And internal organs are entirely scorched and rotten.
This pain cannot be endured;
In weeping and wailing, they constantly scream.
