7.22

At that time, the Bhagavat addressed the bhikṣus: Women have five desires and aspirations. What are the five? First, to be born into an eminent and noble family; second, to marry into a rich and noble family; third, to have her husband follow her words and obey her instructions; fourth, to have many sons; and fifth, to have autonomy within the household. These are called having these five desirable aspirations.
