大唐內典錄云。罽賓禪師法秀初至燉煌。立禪閣於閑曠地。植柰千株。趨者如雲徒眾濟濟。
The Great Tang Record of Buddhist Scriptures says: When the Dhyāna Master Faxiu of Kapiśa first arrived in Dunhuang, he erected a dhyāna pavilion in a secluded, open place and planted a thousand apple trees. Those who flocked there were like clouds, and his disciples were numerous.
