我佛釋迦於三阿僧祇劫。修六度萬行因。或實報或示化。各隨物類。別名氏也。
Our Buddha Śākyamuni, over three asaṃkhyeya-kalpas, cultivated the causes of the ṣaṭ-pāramitā and myriad practices; whether in real retribution bodies or manifested transformations, he was distinguished by names and clans according to the categories of beings.
