中阿含經云。一求財不得。二設得耗散。三眾不愛敬。四惡名流布。五死入地獄。
The Madhyama Āgama states: 'First, seeking wealth and not obtaining it; second, even if obtained, it is dissipated; third, not being loved or respected by the multitude; fourth, bad reputation spreading widely; fifth, falling into hell upon death.'
