智度論云。得道者。名為道人。餘出家者。未得道者。亦名道人（道者亦同此說）。
The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa states: "One who has attained the Way is called a person of the Way. Other renunciants who have not yet attained the Way are also called persons of the Way (the term 'practitioner of the Way' [dàozhě] also follows this explanation)."
