僧祇云。若病差若新剃頭。若頭面有瘡照無罪。若為好故照者。得越毘尼罪。
The Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya says: 'If recovering from an illness, or newly shaven, or if there are sores on the head or face, looking is not an offense. If looking for the sake of vanity, one commits an offense of transgressing the Vinaya.'
