佛地論云。一法身即自受用身佛也。二生身即他受用。并化身佛也○攝論云。如來有二種身。一自性得身是法身也。二人功得身。是應化二身也。

The Buddhabhūmi-śāstra states: '1. The dharmakāya, which is the Buddha as the body for one's own enjoyment. 2. The physical body, which is the Buddha as the body for others' enjoyment together with the transformation body.' The Mahāyānasaṃgraha states: 'The Tathāgata has two kinds of bodies: 1. The body obtained through intrinsic nature, which is the dharmakāya. 2. The body obtained through human effort, which is the responsive and transformation bodies.'
