華嚴經云。一無著佛。二願佛。三業報佛。四住持佛。五涅槃佛。六法界佛。七心佛。八三昧佛。九性佛。十如意佛（無所發菩薩經。及佛地論。頗同有云。十重他受用佛。亦名十身）○已上諸身不同無出於三身也三身不同即不離一身而佛佛具足矣。

The Avataṃsaka-sūtra says: '1. The non-attachment Buddha. 2. The vow Buddha. 3. The karmic fruition Buddha. 4. The teaching-maintaining Buddha. 5. The nirvāṇa Buddha. 6. The dharmadhātu Buddha. 7. The mind Buddha. 8. The samādhi Buddha. 9. The nature Buddha. 10. The wish-fulfilling Buddha.' (The Wu suo fa pusa jing and the Buddhabhūmi-śāstra are quite similar; some say that the ten-fold Buddha for others' enjoyment is also called the ten bodies). The various different bodies above do not go beyond the three bodies. Though the three bodies differ, they are not separate from the single body, and each and every Buddha possesses them completely.
