菩薩處胎經云。胎化藏。中陰藏。摩訶衍藏戒律藏。十住菩薩藏。雜藏。金剛藏。佛藏。是為釋迦文佛經法具是矣○若今安置經律論處名藏者梵云俱舍。此言藏。謂。庫府之總稱也。

The Bodhisattva Womb Sūtra says: 'The Womb-Transformation Piṭaka, the Intermediate Existence Piṭaka, the Mahāyāna Piṭaka, the Precepts and Vinaya Piṭaka, the Ten Abodes Bodhisattva Piṭaka, the Miscellaneous Piṭaka, the Diamond Piṭaka, and the Buddha Piṭaka—these are the scripture-teachings of Śākyamuni Buddha in full.' If nowadays the places where sūtras, vinaya, and treatises are housed are called zang, in Sanskrit this is kośa; translated here as treasury (zang), meaning a general designation for storehouses and archives.
