高僧僧慧。與暢法師。長講三藏號二傑○隋高僧敬脫。號僧傑（才兼萬人曰傑）。

The eminent monk Senghui and Dharma Master Sengchang continually lectured on the Tripiṭaka and were called the 'Two Outstanding Masters'. The eminent monk Jingtuo of the Sui was called an 'Outstanding Master Among Monks' (one whose talent equals ten thousand people is called a *jie*, outstanding master).
