經云。阿難領受佛法。如瀉瓶水。傳之別器。更無遺餘。瓶器雖殊。水則無別。
The sūtra says: Ānanda received and retained the Buddha's teachings just like water poured from a flask into another vessel, without the slightest loss. Though the flask and the vessel differ, the water itself is not different.
