惠隆。學窮義理。宋代名賢多為交友。而節操容貌。有若寒松。時周顆。謂曰隆法師蕭散森疎。若霜下松竹。

Huilong exhaustively mastered doctrinal principles. Many eminent and worthy persons of the Song dynasty became his friends. His integrity and demeanor were like a winter pine. At that time, Zhou Ke said of him: 'Master Long is unconstrained, lofty, and distinct, like pines and bamboo beneath the frost.'
