法苑云。弘始三年。姚興園中植葱。一日皆變為薤。占之。合有智人至果得羅什法師來。
The Fayuan [zhulin] says: In the third year of the Hongshi era, onions planted in Yao Xing's garden all transformed into shallots in one day. When divined, it indicated that a wise man was due to arrive. Sure enough, Dharma Master [Kumāra]jīva arrived.
