2.62

佛住孫婆白土村。爾時。係婆天神白佛。過去佛皆受用此處瓦鉢。佛乃聽比丘受瓦鉢。

The Buddha was staying in the village of White Earth in Suṃbha. At that time, a deva named Xiba reported to the Buddha: "Past Buddhas all made use of the earthenware bowls of this place." The Buddha then permitted the monks to receive earthenware bowls.
