2.96

梵語軍遲。此云瓶。常貯水。隨身用以淨手○寄歸傳云。軍持有二。若[茲/瓦]瓦者。是淨用。若銅鐵者。是觸用。

In Sanskrit, kuṇḍikā; here called a pitcher. It constantly stores water, kept on one's person to wash the hands. ○ The Record of the Western Seas says: 'There are two kinds of kuṇḍikā: earthenware is for pure use; bronze or iron is for defiled use.'
