3.15

瑜伽論云。一可喜樂言。二善開發言。三喜識難言。四善分㭊言。五善順入言。六引餘證言。七勝辯才言。八隨宗言。

The Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra says: “First, agreeable and joyful speech; second, speech that adeptly elucidates; third, speech that gladly recognizes difficult points; fourth, speech that adeptly analyzes; fifth, speech that adeptly complies and penetrates; sixth, speech that adduces further proof; seventh, speech of superior eloquence; eighth, speech conforming to the tenets.”
