3.21

未曾有經云。若多少有德。自大以憍人。如彼盲執燭照彼不自明。

The Adbhutadharmaparyāya-sūtra says: “If one has a little virtue, yet becomes conceited and arrogant toward others, it is like a blind person holding a lamp: it illuminates others, but does not enlighten oneself.”
