十誦云。出力者若白衣於寺欲作惡事侵擾比丘。應苦切折伏。或直向王臣言令其止惡。
The Daśādhyāya-vinaya states: "Regarding those who expend strength, if laypeople wish to commit evil acts in the monastery and harass the bhikṣus, one should sternly subdue them, or go directly to royal ministers to have them stop the evil."
