正云索訶。又自誓三昧經云。沙訶。漢言忍或云堪忍謂此土剛強難忍故即事立名也。

Properly called suōhē. The Zishi sanmei jing also calls it shāhē. In Chinese it means "endurance," or it is called "able to endure," meaning that this land is stubborn and hard to endure; hence the name was established according to the circumstances.
