殯後三日。再往墓所。謂之覆墓。杜氏云。不載禮經但以孝子自迁奉後追慕所親。又慮墳墓未完復往省之。今釋子往亦無咎。蓋檢校之至也。

Three days after the encoffining, going to the grave site again is called "revisiting the grave." Du [You] states: "It is not recorded in the canonical rites; it was merely that a filial son, after seeing off and burying his kin, longed for his loved one, and also fearing that the grave mound was not yet finished, went again to inspect it. Nowadays, if a Śākya disciple goes, there is also no fault; it is simply the utmost inspection and care."
