3.51

治禪經後序云。天竺大乘沙門佛陀斯那天才特拔。諸國獨步內外綜博。無籍不練。世人咸曰。人中師子。

The Postface to the Sūtra on Cultivating Dhyāna says: ‘The Mahāyāna Śramaṇa Buddhasena of Tianzhu had extraordinary talent, was unmatched among various nations, and synthesized both Buddhist and non-Buddhist teachings, being thoroughly versed in all texts. People of the world all called him a lion among men.’”
